Wheter you fly a transport or a Cessna, this system will bring your simulation to a new level. The Sim Cockpit System AIRCRAFT COCKPIT GX accommodates three monitors and a projection system for a stunning scenery image dimension. The cut-out on the instrument panel fits a 24" LCD monitor or smaller. To the right, there is room for a 17" or 15" LCD monitor to display the radios and a FMC. To place the monitor on the platform, the stand should be removed. In addition, the overhead panel accepts a 17" monitor for system displays. If the overhead monitor is to be installed, the stand needs to be removed. Without the overhead monitor installation, a cover for the opening is included. The projection is from behind the user over the structure onto a wall or screen. The recommended projector is the SHARP/XR-30S, available at a reasonable cost. The projector is mounted inverted using the PROJECTOR SUPPORT SCS-XR available at an extra charge, or other suitable projector mounts can be used. If a projector is not used, a monitor or multiple monitors can be placed on a wall or wall shelf at the windscreen opening height for the scenery presentation. For minimal cost, a single monitor can be used in the panel opening if upgrading is desired at a later time. The center support platform accepts a CH Flight Sim Yoke. For the Airbus fly-by wire family of aircraft, the left hand usable CH Flight Stick can be installed on the left platform by means of VELCRO straps included. An opening on the right platform accepts the CH Throttle Quadrant and the CH Pro pedals are placed on the bottom platform. Other controllers may be used if fitting is possible, however additional fasteners not included may be required, The right platform has a support designed for a trackball, but a mouse can be used instead. The metal parts have a durable powder coating finish and the platforms and panels have a melamine surface. The dashboard is covered with a vinyl fabric. For further customization there is room for mounting of switches and buttons. Monitors, projector and controllers are not included.
