The AIRCRAFT COCKPIT FX accommodates one monitor and a projector for a stunning scenery image. It is used for aircraft like fighters, aerobatic aircraft, gliders and helicopters. The opening on the instrument panel fits a 19" LCD monitor or smaller. The projection is from behind the user over the structure onto a wall or screen. The recommended projector is the SHARP XR-30S, available at a reasonable cost. To mount the projector, the Projector Support SCS-XR is available at an extra charge. If a projector is not used, a monitor or multiple monitors can be placed on a wall or wall shelf at the windscreen opening height for the scenery presentation. The upper structure and instrument panel frame can be left off if only one monitor or larger monitor is used. The left platform accepts the throttle and the center platform or the right platform is used for the joystick. The CH Products controllers, the Thrustmaster HOTAS or the Saitek X45 is fastened to the platforms with VELCRO straps provided. If you use the Saitek X52, holes are available on the platforms for mounting but the screws are not included. The CH Pro Pedals are placed on the bottom platform. Other controllers may be used if fitting is possible, however additional fasteners not included may be required. In front of the instrument panel there is space for a keyboard and a mouse. The metal parts have a durable powder coating finish and the platforms and panels have a melamine surface. The dashboard is covered with a vinyl fabric. At the present time only Microsoft Flight Simulator offers multi monitor support on a single computer. Monitor, projector and controllers are not included.
